Change and Development in Focus: UTH Presents Latest Machine Generation for Sustainability and Efficiency at Tire Technology Expo

Fulda/Germany – Fulda-based UTH GmbH will showcase its latest machine generation at Tire Technology Expo 2024, taking place from March 19th to 21st in Hannover. At booth number 4002, the company will present its current product line-up based on the proven roll-ex® technology, offering solutions that have established themselves worldwide as the standard for gentle and clean processing of rubber compounds.

UTH GmbH specializes in the further development of the proven roll-ex® fine mesh strainer and gear pump technology to create customized solutions that meet the increasing demands for quality, resource efficiency, sustainability and cost-effectiveness in the rubber and tire industry. Thus, UTH’s latest machine generation provides a solution to the continuously increasing standards, particularly in tire manufacturing, such as sustainable and reliable processes, a consistent reduction of reject rates and growing material requirements.

All-round Solutions for Various Applications and Best Results

The roll-ex® extrusion system developed by UTH is worldwide renown for the particularly gentle processing of rubber compounds. With throughputs of up to 10,000 kg/h, gear pump extruder and strainer solutions are optimally designed for cost-effective performance in mixing lines in the tire industry. In particular, inline straining offers advantages in tire production, which are shown, for example, when straining masterbatch stages or final batch. The modular combination of the patented gear pump with a two-roll feeder (TRF) or a conical double-screw extruder (DSE) allows integration in almost all mixing lines.

At their booth, UTH will also present continuous strip-making solutions with optional straining capability. To meet these requirements, a compact straining cell consisting of a gear pump with a single screw extruder as well as a cooling line and stacking unit is used.

Visitors will also learn more about the innovative TRP technology (Two-Roll Plasticizer), which is also based on patented gear pump technology used in tire manufacturing for sustainable, resource-efficient processing of rework material.
