Improving Efficiency and Product Quality in Rubber Processing at Expobor 2026
FULDA, GERMANY. At Expobor 2026 in São Paulo, Brazil, UTH GmbH will present solutions for more efficient and cost-effective rubber processing with a focus on consistent product quality. Based on its modular roll-ex® gear pump technology, the company will showcase systems for fine mesh straining, dosing, and mixing, as well as a new machine generation featuring dual-drive technology. These systems enable stable and reliable processes, minimize contamination and scrap, and enhance material efficiency in modern rubber manufacturing.
Drawing on more than 40 years of experience in the rubber industry and decades of global use of its roll-ex® technology, UTH continues to engineer practical solutions tailored to evolving production requirements. From June 23 to 25, the company will showcase its modular system, globally established in the rubber and tire industry, along with an expanded portfolio covering key process steps.
Focus on Cost-Efficient and Reliable Rubber Processing
Rising requirements for consistent product quality, stable processes, and cost-efficient production are key challenges in rubber manufacturing. UTH addresses these demands with its modular roll-ex® system, which enables flexible machine configurations tailored to specific applications. The system can be combined with different feeding units, including the Two-Roll Plasticizer (TRP), the Two-Roll Feeder (TRF), the Single-Screw Feeder (SF), and the Conical Twin-Screw Extruder (DSE), allowing seamless integration into both new and existing production lines.
By optimizing key process steps such as fine mesh straining and material handling, these technologies help reduce contamination, lower scrap rates, and improve overall product consistency. At the same time, efficient processing and reprocessing of materials contribute to reduced raw material consumption and lower operating costs.
UTH’s TRP technology enables continuous milling and material-efficient processing of rubber compounds, including high-viscosity and highly tacky materials that challenge conventional methods. It improves product quality through gentle and uniform homogenization while allowing precise viscosity control and stable processing conditions. At the same time, TRP supports the efficient reprocessing of rework material, helping to minimize scrap rates, optimize material utilization, and improve overall cost efficiency.
Additional developments include advanced mixing solutions and a polymer dosing system for the precise handling of highly viscous materials. Digital tools such as DataLox and VisuGraph V2 further enhance process monitoring and data analysis, contributing to greater transparency, more stable production, and sustained improvements in productivity.
At Geromaq’s partner booth 2/K, visitors will have the opportunity to explore these solutions in detail and discuss how they can be applied to optimize production efficiency, enhance product quality, and cut overall manufacturing costs.
